Dr. Upendra Kaul is an eminent and globally renowned Cardiologist with experience spanning over four decades. He is one of the pioneers in launching coronary interventions in India and has more than three decades of experience in conducting large multicentric investigator-initiated sponsored trials in cardiology.

Dr. Kaul has held various prestigious positions as National Lead Investigator, Chairman, Co-Chairman, Steering committee member, and Data Safety Monitoring Board Chair of many global projects.

As Chief Executive Officer of Clicebo, he supports clinical operations with protocol development, therapeutic training, medical writing, medical affairs, patient safety issues, and liasoning with doctors and industry.

As Chairman of Batra Heart Institute and Dean of Academics & Research at Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre, which he has held since 2017, he has initiated the TUXEDO 2 study and many other trials. Before Batra Hospital, he was associated with Fortis Hospital as Executive Director of Fortis Escorts Heart Institute and Dean of Academics Research of Fortis Healthcare Limited. He had initiated the TUXEDO study, which was presented in a late-breaking session at TCT San Francisco. His series of randomized stent trials are conducted under the acronym “TUXEDO." In collaboration with the industry, Dr. Kaul received grants worth $5 million in 2010 and $4 million in 2019 for conducting clinical research.

Asim Roy holds varied experience and specialization in the clinical research industry, especially in finance. As Director, Finance at Clicebo, since its inception, he handles financial operations, compliance and legal matters.

His career started in corporate finance with Global Financial Consulting in various roles for management of a portfolio of investors and projects across continents. In 2013, Asim joined Fortis Escorts Hospital as an Internal Auditor and Cost Controller for the prestigious TUXEDO-1 trial. Since 2019, he is Financial Consultant, Academics and Research Department, Batra Hospital, managing their financial and legal matters, including TUXEDO-2 India study.

As Director, Operations at Clicebo, Priyadarshini is responsible for overall strategy and driving business. She builds cross-functional teams to support sponsors with the best possible regulatory, scientific, medical, and operational advice. Her expertise lies in developing clinical research programs for pharmaceuticals, medical device companies, academic institutes, and government agencies.

She established the Academics and Research Department, Batra Hospital and Medical Research Center, New Delhi in 2017 and is associated with the Department as General Manager. Prior to this, she was Associate General Manager, Fortis Healthcare Ltd., where she was instrumental in starting Clinical Research Department at 17 hospitals and overlooked 200+ trials, including the TUXEDO study.

Dr. Ghadiok is a Cardiac Anaesthetist with 25+ years of clinical experience at leading hospital groups in India, including Fortis, Gangaram, Apollo, and St. Stephen’s. He transitioned to healthcare strategy, medical advisory, and business growth with enriching stints at Fortis Healthcare, Nova and International Oncology Services.
